Overview

G6 Pro Entry is the most ambitious door-access device in this list, and it feels designed for buyers who want a front entrance to act like both a premium camera doorbell and a serious access terminal.

Why I Recommend It

I recommend the Ubiquiti G6 Pro Entry for its best-in-class combination of camera and access features, native protect plus access integration feels very modern. It is also the cleaner comparison against the …

If you are outfitting a premium office, multifamily entrance, or higher-end gatehouse, the G6 Pro Entry can make financial sense by replacing multiple boxes with one better-integrated device. For a more straightforward door, G6 Entry will usually be …

Performance & Reliability

This is a serious entry station: face recognition, smart detections, two-way audio, an 8MP package camera, and strong vertical framing for person visibility. In the right deployment, it can reduce the usual compromise between security coverage and access control. The trade-off is that it belongs in a properly designed entrance, not as a casual smart-doorbell impulse buy.

Setup & Installation

Installation is more demanding than a normal reader because this is both a camera device and an Access endpoint. You need an Access Hub for the door-control features, PoE+ at the wall, and both Protect and Access configured properly. It is absolutely manageable, but it is not a beginner product.

Value for the Money

If you are outfitting a premium office, multifamily entrance, or higher-end gatehouse, the G6 Pro Entry can make financial sense by replacing multiple boxes with one better-integrated device. For a more straightforward door, G6 Entry will usually be the better value.
