At about $129, Door Hub Mini is very easy to justify. It is one of those products that feels correctly priced for small business back doors, side entrances, and tidy residential gates with modest requirements.
Within its intended scope, it should be excellent. It supports one door, keeps the footprint tight, and avoids the bloat that smaller sites never use. The trade-off is simply capacity: lower user count, fewer inputs, and less room for edge-case wiring than the full Door Hub.
This is one of the easier Access infrastructure products to place because it is physically compact and purpose-built for a smaller cabinet or enclosure. Just make sure the door spec is stable. If you suspect you will add more accessories or more complex input handling later, start with the standard Door Hub instead.
